What a special person. Wonderful nurse and supervisor..she always kept us on our toes while a student at BGH from 1962 thru 1965. She was a friend and always willing to lend a helping hand to all. Especially remember her compassion when I returned to work at BGH while my husband served in Vietnam. We have lost a genuine Angel on earth!

Sr. Mary Salvatore Leo
I remember her, as a student at BGH. A sweet woman, kind, efficient. I was a student nurse there, in 1961-1964. Many fond memories of being a student, and having Sister Salvatore.
Condolences to her family.

All the nurses at Braddock Hospital could tell you stories of Sister Salvatore saving the day by starting an I.V. so that critical medications could be administered. I have the greatest respect for her in her nursing ability and her devotion to God and our Lord,Jesus. May she rest in the peace of heaven.

What a special gift you were to the Braddock Community, but particularly to our Hospital. Your skill as a nurse was outstanding and your response to a life of ministry and service was truly selfless. With grateful hearts, we admire all that you did to care for the sick. You labored long in God's vineyard, and now it is time to take your rest.

Peace and comfort,

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return your dear one to you. Your family and friends have my deepest condolences.

Sister Salvatore was the nicest and best nurse I ever worked with. Her IV skills were miraculous. I had to call on her skills when I worked at Braddock General. (1964-1966)
She was a quiet sweet person with a quiet smile
