Nettie,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person but I feel like I know him from all the wonderful stories you have shared with me over the years. Try to find comfort knowing that he Mr. Bud & Mrs. Trudy are together again. They will continue to watch over your family. Your family has made your parents very proud and now you all have to find strength and comfort in one another.

I was so sad to hear that Bill aka the" Can Man" passed away. He was such a great man. Whenever anyone asked how he was he would always say "fair to midland". I had the pleasure of working with him at Chartwell.

Dad, it is with a heavy heart that I am writing this. I am very proud to be your son. To have the work ethic that you instilled in us, the courage to speak what is on our minds, and to wear our emotions on our sleeve. I want to thank you for providing the best childhood we could have had in a challenging time and neighborhood. Working three jobs was not easy, and now with a family of my own, I understand. I hope that you and mom are together again, and will continue to look after us kids. I miss you! Until we meet again, always in my mind and heart.

Love John
