Age 75, on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. Beloved husband of Mary (McHugh); loving father of Ann Marie (fiancé James Steigerwaldt) Toal; son of the late William and Martha Toal; brother of the late Laura, William, Harry, Richard, Bessie and Martha (Alice); brother-in-law of James McHugh; also numerous nieces and nephews; special pappy to Madisyn and Leyton. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pgh., PA 15220. Mass of Christian Burial in Ascension Church of St. Philip Parish on Saturday at 10 a.m. Family requests memorials be made to a local animal shelter or the charity of your choice.

Mary and Annie ~ I am so sorry for your loss, I just heard this news today. I am forever grateful to Russ for introducing me to Pat, he was a great guy. Sending thoughts and prayers to you both.

Although his suffering is over our hearts feel the loss of his warm conversations and great company. I'll miss him especially in the fall remembering his and Mary's visit with Jim and I.

Toal Family, You have my deepest sympathy of the passing of russ. I bowled in the Post Office bowling league for years.Very pleasant n caring person he was. GOD BLESS What happened ????
